A new series....and a contest!The first is up - "0" - The Fool, Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket
I feel it's pretty obvious why I chose her, but just in case - to me she is the ultimate "Fool". Innocent yet wise. Fools are often on life-changing and self-discovering journeys, as is Tohru. They often look forward, with a positive attitude towards the future, as does Tohru.
My sources include "The Complete Tarot", "Celestial Tarot Handbook", and my own feelings and insights.
The second will be up soon. Can you guess who each of the major arcana will be? I'm sure some will surprise you.
For those on my friends list who actually read this journal - take a guess. I'll delay Card "1" from going up for a few days to give you guys time.

For the Lovers, I'll go old-school and say Utena and Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena would be a pretty solid choice. A very archetypal princess and Prince Charming!
Aaaaaaaand... I dunno how well it actually fits with the positive meaning of the card, but when I hear "Judgement" I can't help but think Light Yagami from Death Note would be the perfect choice. :B

For Death I would almost say Cloud Strife because in the fight with Sephiroth he comes to realize what's important to him and from this realization he finds new life within himself and they find a cure for the geo-stigma (thus the new life, new beginnings), but yet he was very self-critual and self-destructive (as with the negative aspects of the card).
That's all I can think of for now.
