The Magician is One - and "1" is also "I"
The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. It's important to remember that the Magician can as easily be clever as skilful, a trickster as well as a magician. This is someone with a magnetic personality, someone who can convince people of almost anything. For better or worse, his words are magic. When this card appears in a Tarot spread it indicates the attainment of goals through the application of knowledge and will. If badly aspected in a spread, this card can represent abuse of power. Let Edward smooth things over with his words and dazzle you with his power. He holds the magic of creation in his hands, but it is creation through manipulation of power and will. He is both healer and destroyer, trickster and trusted advisor. |
